Description of wire drawing machine

1.Transmission system

The transmission way of wire drawing machine is AC frequency conversion motor + V belts+ reducer with hard gear surface or frequency conversion motor +V belts. Special structure type gearbox is adopted to ensure the reliability under high speed running and good shock absorption and heat dissipation effect of gearbox. Shaft end pump is fixed inside gearbox for the lubricant requirements of bearing and gear inside gearbox during running.

2 .Block

The block is made from cast steel by precision casting, have tempering and hardening treatment after rod machining, the working surface of block is spraying welded with abrasion resistant tungsten carbide, then fine machining by grinding machine, the surface rigidity is no less than HRC58. The inner surface of block is sprayed with Aluminum for rust resistant.

3. Water cooling

The inner water jacket surface for chief shaft seat adopt spiral ribs which can remove the dirty stuff from the block inner surface when block in running condition and water flow go from down to top to keep the inside wall clean and enhance the block cooling effects, and can prolong the use-life of block at same time. Some capstan also have outer surface air cooling. The inner cooling water jacket for capstan is made of Alumium alloy.

Die box adopts circulation water directly water cooling, and use stainless steel valve to control the water flow.

4. Die box

The die box adopts steel plates welded structure as a whole, and divided into two cavities: the front cavity is wire drawing powder cavity, and the rear cavity is the die cavity. To prevent wire drawing powder from entering the die cavity, there are flip covers on the powder cavity and mold cavity.

Each die box is easy to install and reliably fixed, ensuring a "three point one line" alignment with the cutting point of the capstan. The die box has four directions of adjustment, up, down, left, and right, making it easy to adjust and disassemble.

5. Tuning device

According to the size of capstan, our wire drawing machine adopts either direct tuning or dance wheel tuning methods. The steel wire is easy to thread without twisting, when drawing the steel wire at high speed, it urgently stops to ensure that there is no wire breakage.

The tuning roller (dance wheel) is made of special mold steel and surface has quenching treatment with hardness HRC≥ 56. The tuning roller (dance wheel) is provided with swing power by pneumatic cylinder, the swing of tuning roller (dance wheel) causes the non-contact sensor to output corresponding electrical signals, which are sent to PLC for high-speed PID calculation, thus achieving synchronous speed matching between each capstan.

6.Safety cover

On the top of each capstan there is a safety cover, which needs to close before the equipment start up. If the cover is open, the equipment can only run in slow speed. The safety cover has covered the total front of operation side and have daylight lamp inside for illuming use. Safety cover is controlled by spring.

7. Machine platform

The front operating surface of machine is equipped with water, electricity, and gas control buttons and instruments, among which the gas circuit includes a pressure regulating valve, a pressure gauge, and a conversion switch; Waterway part: Two stainless steel ball valves, respectively controlling the cooling water of capstan and dies; Electrical part: work indication, front linkage, back linkage, start, stop, single action/linkage.

The front of machine is equipped with an emergency stop pull switch for emergency parking. Install butt welding machine sockets on the front and rear machine tables of wire drawing machine.

8.Air pipelines

The equipment uses compressed air from external sources. Before enters the pipeline on equipment, the compressed air need to filter out moisture and impurities through an air source treatment device.

9. Water pipelines

Adopting a low water pressure and high flow design, the impact on water pressure drop is not significant, and the cooling effect is stable; The inlet and outlet pipes are installed inside the equipment, and the die box and capstan adopt an external circulating cooling water system.

10. Spooler take-up

φ1000 or φ630 Horizontal spooler take-up are adopted. The speed is synchronized with wire drawing machine, which can meet the wire collection requirements (the size data of spools needs to provided by buyer). The maximum take-up weight is 2000KG, and the wire arrangement pitch is infinitely adjustable.

The take-up machine is composed of machine frame, transmission spindle seat, peak, wire arrangement mechanism, and a protective device. The take-up machine is a closed structure, the protective cover cannot be opened during operation (including jog operation). The protective cover of take-up machine adopts a steel mesh structure.

The take-up machine is driven by a variable frequency speed control motor. Wiring method: Adopting ball screw wiring, variable frequency speed regulation.
