Main Process Introduction
Degreasing
Removes uneven soap powder and borax, applying a uniform layer to ensure consistent surface coating on the steel wire.
Furnace
Restores ductility to deformation-hardened steel wire, achieving ideal microstructure for required tensile strength, shape, and elongation.
Quenching
Cools heat-treated steel wire from high temperature using water vapor quenching to obtain strong strength and sostenitic structure.
Pickling
Removes all oxides and residues from the steel wire surface, ensuring clean surface for uniform coating coverage.
Copper plating
Applies uniform copper layer on steel wire surface to facilitate subsequent brass drawing process.
Zinc plating
Deposits metal zinc on the steel wire surface.
MF
Uses intermediate frequency heating to diffuse copper and zinc layers, creating brass through thermal diffusion at controlled temperatures.
Phosphoric acid wash
Removes hard zinc oxide produced during thermal diffusion that could cause wire breakage in wet drawing process.
