2. Process
Pay-off →Straightening device + Die drawing device→ IPS Induction heat treatment → Water cooling→ Tension device → Traction device → Shearing → Coiling tak-up
Induction heat treatment(IGBG 350KW/6-8KHz):
A). The power cabinet is a omniseal structure, constructed by 2mm thick cold rolled steel plates after acid cleaning and phosphating treatment, as well as after plastic spraying treatment. Double door in front and at back.
B). Surface of copper busbar goes through hot-dip tinning process, electrical connections are coated with conductive grease, and fixed by stainless steel bolts. Cooling water jets, water pipes are all set at the back part of the cabinet, in case electrical components be burnt out due to accidental water spray. Inlet pipes ,outlet pipes, and water nozzles are all made by No. 304 stainless steel. Cooling water pipes are made by imported materials.
C). The power control system consists of rectifier trigger, rectifier control, power adjustment, inverting control, and protection, etc. With digital circuit, the rectifier trigger provides trigger pulse for SCR. Rectifier control mainly functions to adjust power, limit electric current, limit voltage, send negative current feedback, start protection during over current and over voltage. Inverting control provides reliable trigger driving pulse with timing phase lock and IGBT module (Germany Infineon brand), which guarantees good anti-interference performance and good stability of the whole facility.
D). The power is equipped with complete digital circuit. Inverting phase lock applies fixed-angle-control, realizes complete & quick protections (for example: current and voltage limitations, over current and over voltage protections, earthing, short circuit when overload, cooling, etc) and indicates corresponding failures. The cabinet is also installed with meters of voltage, frequency, current, power, etc. Electrical load can be adjusted.
E). Both local control and remote control of the power are available.
F). Voltage and current double closed loop control is adopted for ensuring the facility keep working under constant voltage, which means, the voltage of induction furnace won’t vary with external factors (such as steel wire inlet voltage, load impedance, etc).
G). Steel wire’s heating temperature can be ≥750℃, steel wire’s temperature fluctuation of is ≤±5℃.
