Working principle of threading machine
Threading machine is also called threading machine, electric threading machine, pipe threading machine and so on. It is mainly used for thread processing of steel pipe materials, and the connecting threads are processed on the raw materials by cutting. Before 1980, people usually used manual pipe thread twisting plates to perform thread processing manually. After 1980, with the progress of electrification, on the basis of manual pipe thread twisting plate, an electric pipe threader was manufactured, which greatly reduced the labor intensity and improved the processing efficiency.
The threading machine is composed of a body, a motor, a chuck, a die head, a chamfering device, a cutter frame, a knife feed device, and a cooling system. There are generally two types of threading machines in the market. One is a heavy-duty threading machine, all made of aluminum alloy, with large weight, stable performance, and high price. It is suitable for long-term projects and is not easy to move. The other is a light threading machine, the lower part is made of iron plate, the upper part is made of aluminum alloy, which is small in weight, strong in flexibility, low in price, and low in stability. It is suitable for projects with short construction period and frequent flow.
The pipe threading machine operation process is as follows:
1. Check whether the equipment is installed firmly, whether the surrounding environment is safe, and whether there is a potential leakage hazard in the power supply.
2. Clamp the tube, raise the die head and chamfering tool holder to a safe position, insert the tube forward from the rear chuck to an appropriate position, and then adjust the clamping.
3. Cut, put down the cutter frame, and start the machine to cut the end face.
4. Chamfering, chamfering the newly cut section.
5. Threading, check whether the die and installation position are in line with the size of the pipe, and adjust the scale of the wire length control panel to the size of the pipe.
6. After the pipe threading work is over, turn off the pipe threader, cut off the power supply, clean the pipe threader, arrange the tools and put them back to the designated position.
Other size in option
We have 1inch, 2inch, 3inch, 4inch as well as 6inch pipe threaders.
Learning of bolt threading machine
A bolt threading machine, also known as a bolt threader or bolt threading die, is a machine used to create external threads on bolts or threaded rods. It is commonly used in manufacturing, construction, and maintenance applications where threaded bolts are required. Bolt threading machines typically use a set of dies or cutting tools to remove material and form the threads on the bolt.
Here's a general overview of how a bolt threading machine works:
1. Set up the machine: Start by securely mounting the bolt threading machine to a stable work surface. Ensure that the machine is properly aligned and adjusted according to the specifications of the bolt or threaded rod you are working with.
2. Insert the bolt: Place the bolt or threaded rod into the machine's chuck or clamping mechanism. Make sure it is held securely in place to prevent movement during the threading process.
3. Select the appropriate die: Choose a die or cutting tool that matches the desired thread size and pitch. The die should be compatible with the machine and properly aligned with the bolt or threaded rod.
4. Adjust the machine: Most bolt threading machines allow you to adjust the depth and cutting speed. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to set these parameters based on the material and thread specifications.
5. Thread the bolt: Start the machine and engage the die with the bolt or threaded rod. Apply steady pressure and rotate the bolt or rod using the machine's controls. The die will remove material and create the external threads on the bolt as it rotates.
6. Complete the threading process: Continue rotating the bolt or rod until the desired length of threads is formed. Use cutting oil or coolant as recommended to lubricate the cutting process and improve thread quality.
7. Remove the bolt: Once the threading process is complete, disengage the die and stop the machine. Carefully remove the threaded bolt or rod from the machine, ensuring that it is not damaged during the removal process.
It's important to note that the specific steps and operation of a bolt threading machine may vary depending on the model and design. Always refer to the manufacturer's instructions and follow proper safety precautions when using any machinery.
